(Closed) Advice on wedding details

I was like you, I didn’t want to bother with details I wouldn’t even remember. I’ve been to a gazillion weddings and I cannot remember the flowers or favors at any of them. What I do remember is if the food was bad and if the music was good.

I didn’t do favors or elaborate centerpieces (I used the hurricane vases and candles the venue provided) and I don’t think it was missed at all. Pinterest can be great but it can also make you feel like you “need” all this extra stuff. Don’t get me wrong, if I had unlimited money I would have done things differently. But on a budget I was more interested in making sure my guests had a delicious meal, nice drinks and good music.

I think you’re right to not worry too much about the details, just stay away from Pinterest if you can lol.

Your venue looks so pretty. Thanks for your post because I started planning a simple wedding with under 30 guestsand now I’m thinking of every tiny detail. You’re right, most people will not even remember them. I need to stay off Pinterest. 😀

rahreep23:  I think you only need the details you want!

Your venue is gorgeous, by the way!
