mylittlebees :  I have seen so many posts about unhappy brides and their sad E rings. If you don’t like it, tell him and get it fixed! If you can’t talk about a ring, how the heck can you talk about other important issues that will face you during your marriage? You have to wear this ( hopefully) for the rest of your life. Go back to Jareds and get it right. If I were man  I would want my bride to be happy with the ring I bought her. Think of the change he forked out.

I don’t think your post sounds bratty AT ALL. If you’re not happy definitely get what you will be happy with. As far as how to go about getting the ring you want I honestly don’t see anything wrong with going back to the same Jared’s and changing it. This kind of stuff happens all the time. If his friend thinks you’re bratty just dismiss it. You and your fiance want the bigger diamond and that’s between you guys! Also I have a suggestion on a different place to buy from depending on what state you’re in?

mylittlebees :  I think you’ll find over time that you won’t want to change it at all, especially once you get a wedding band on with it ☺

If you get a one carat solitaire, it will probably have around the same coverage as your current halo. For that reason, I wouldn’t get a solitaire- you’ll just be back posting that you want a new setting.
