* Correction!

When I was talking about putting a board behind the tiles to make them sturdy I said dry wall – I meant to say PLYWOOD.  I was thinking plywood would make for a good and solid background. Sorry I’m not a handy girl 🙂 Husband had to correct me

Thanks lady, I played around with the idea of drapery and I though it was beautiful!!! Here is an example of my inspiration and my recreation.  LOL don’t judge me though, I only had old curtains in the basement to play around with AND I only had enough to recreate half of the picture HAHA.

Inspiration….

Recreation…

DO IT! I think your wall and the fabric would be beautiful together! Take a picture whenever you update it!!!

izziebizzy5115 :  looks great to me. I want to do the same thing. I think you’re on the right track and they look like flowers, a higher resolution camera should pick it up even more. Thanks for showing the grid up close.

Hey @ lcb2013 how many tiles are you using? How big are you making your wall?  I have 24 total now (4 tiles across and 6 tiles down) but I’m not sure how big to go?!?!?!?!

lcb2013 :  Your wall is gorgeous. The only thing I would change is the drapery. I would go with a different color to help  make everything pop. Right now the drapery is blending in with the flowers too much.  Are you guys getting the florals from Michaels? If so they have coupons online and sometimes those coupons are for 20% or 30% off of your total purchase. So you don’t have to wait for the sale in stores. They typically change coupons every week but they also have a coupon to get 40% off one item online which is a regular weekly coupon.  Also a lot of times there will be a coupon attached to your receipts or included with your receipts. That should help you get your items cheaper.

Ohhh! I love the ombre’ affect here @lcb2013 it looks so gorgeous and natural. It’s perfect! I think the burgandy would add some nice contrast especially if it’s one of your wedding colors! I say go for it!

lcb2013 LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!!!!!! Love the SIZE! Perfect for a backdrop for the wedding photos. Love the ombre color.  LOVE! Yes I would change the drapery as you said that you would, I would just do MORE fabric.  Different color plus more fabric so that the drapery is opaque!  No judgment here, I know that you said you were working with the material that you had available and I still love it.  I don’t know your color palette for your wedding but a simple white would be beautiful!!!! Or even if you incorporated the burgundy color with the drapery instead of the extra flowers!  I love love the size though.  Its perfect! Great job BEE!  I’m still working on my wall because I decided to strip it (AGAIN…smh) and rearrange the flowers so that they are not in “groups.”  I felt that the flowers were in clumps of colors (ex. a clump of white flowers then a clump of pink flowers) I wanted them more randomly placed.  So I will update you guys when I have finished rearranging the flowers (for the third time…not LOL)!

PS You pic is too cute!
