Alright, I keep going back and forth and round and round about what size should size my Ering to. I basically measure for 6.5, but that doesn’t allow for any spinning (except wet or freezing cold) or swelling in warmer weather and I don’t care for my rings that tight when it’s warm and hate the ring muffin top. So I know I need to size up, especially cause will be getting a wedding band to wear with it and can’t stand the ring to feel any tighter than it is and know a wedding band will only make it feel tighter. Basically I am debating between a 7 and 7.25. I have another ring that is a 7, which I have wiggle room, spins and moves around on my finger, but doesn’t fly off unless I shake my hand really hard – and ran a 10k yesterday with it and my fingers swelled but the ring was still comfortable, and when I ran a half a week ago I had a little thinner size 7 ring on and that was still good after running a half marathon. I just worry that with adding a wedding band it might be too tight. So this is where I need help. To also hopefully provide more help that two rings that have pictured my ring with are probably fairly similar in width to the two rings we are looking at for wedding bands – they wouldn’t be any thinner and at most maybe slightly wider but really shouldn’t be. First is a picture of just my ring by itself to help with width/visualizing
Here is my ring (size 6.5) with the size 7 ring wore during the 10k and is similar in style to the thicker of the two bands we are considering for wedding band
And here it is with another size 7 ring that is similar – a little thinner than the other band considering, but similar
(sorry for the quality of the pictures, was having issues getting it to focus enough to be clear)
So: My question is this: Do I resize my Ering to a 7 and order my wedding band in a 7 – or do I resize my Ering to a 7.25? I have room with the 7 ring now, and so far when its swollen it’s not uncomfortable like my Ering is at 6.5 now – but trying to visualize with practicing stacking the rings if they will be ok if both are in a 7 or if people have found they needed more room. I keep going in circles in my head, and am trying to resize as little as possible, especially since my ring is Palladium and not every jeweler is comfortable with it, and am sending it back to where my Fiance got the ring, so would like to be without it as little as possible – so I am coming to you fellow bees for help! I do appreciate it!!
