With all this talk of running and exercise goals, I’ve been inspired to finally lose those 15 lbs before the wedding. Of course, I have plenty of time (a little less than a year to go), but I want to get started now, so that I can reinforce good habits early on.
So my question to you lovely ladies is: what is your favorite exercise video? My fitness-knowledgeable fiance says that aerobics is the best form of at-home exercise. I don’t like running and I hate cardio, but I know I need it! I want something I can do easily at home 3-4 times a week and get a really good work-out.

I do P90X, but it sounds like you’re not looking for something quite as strenuous. I would actually recommend any of the "Dancing with the Stars" workouts. I know it sounds cheesy, but it works your core bigtime and it’s not hard to follow. Also, ANY yoga video would be good! Not only is it relaxing, but it also works your core and helps with flexibilty. Just look at Madonna! 🙂

I love love love Jillian Michaels. 30 Day Shred and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism are my favorites. I’m finally losing the last ten pounds I’ve been trying to lose for a couple years thanks to Jillian.

I have knee and feet issues so regular aerobics are not an option – I do step aerobics instead. I love any DVD by Gin Miller.

i’m another Jillian Michaels groupie. i also listen to her podcasts to brainwash myself into healthier habits (on itunes search for KFI Sunday, then click on it and you can listen to or download them). i’ve also heard great things about P90X (Jillian like it too!).

Dude… Jillian 30 day shred, the metabolism one and the no more trouble zones. 🙂 Those are all fantastic. Also Cindy Witmarsh does some good ones. While areobics is great….so is building muscie. The more muscle you have the more calories you burn all day long because they make your body work harded to keep them. Fat doesn’t need any energy to keep it…. muscle does. So build that muscle girl, tone up and you’ll lose those 15 pounds faster and look awesome. 🙂 Have fun!
