What bridals salons did you get your wedding dress from? I’m going dress shopping for the first time in Atlanta and need your suggestions. I am not that very picky and am trying to find an affordable dress. Where would you suggest I check out?

I super recommend Brides Atlanta in Douglasville, GA (on the West side). They were wonderful, can’t say enough wonderful things about them. However, I would not recommend using their alterations lady. But they have a super wide variety of collections and styles, and their staff is fabulous!

If you are inside the perimeter I would highly recommend Le Dress in buckhead. They sell sample dresses off the rack.
After trting on dresses all over Atlanta, New York and Dallas I just was not excited about spending $5000 on a dress I would wear once.My mom convinced me to check out Le Dress and I was able to get my dress for under $700. Some of their dresses do cost up to 2k but it just depends on the dessigner. They have a website with their current dresses so just google them.

I bought my Mori Lee dress from Azalea Bridal. They were very laid back and didnt pressure me at all. I was lucky enough to find my dream dress at 80% off retail during their sample sale a few months ago. They are very reasonable to begin with, so my dress was a steal. Sample sales are really the way to go if you’re looking to save money. Bride Beautiful of Atlanta also has sample sales twice a year.

There is a place in Chamblee that I heard great things about but unfortnately I cannot remember the name of it right now. They do custom design and their prices are really good. I went there to look for my dress. My best friend might get hers there as she is the bride now. They also have rack sales every once in a while. I am sure if you google it – you can find it. If I think of the name I will post it later.

@courtyardgarden Are you talking about Carrie’s Bridal on antique row?
I got mine at Carrie’s. She doesn’t sell anything over $999. She also designs her own gowns, so they truly are one of a kind. I got mine there back in January, love it and the price couldn’t be beat. She sells off the rack, so you may have to be open minded about alterations – not every dress comes in every size either.
