I have been looking for dress and have fell in love with some sites like: BHLDN, Ivy and Aster (the duchess), Alice + Olivia, Sarah Seven, Erin Fetherston. The dress are in my price range, under $2,500. Can you ladies show me your gowns that are simple, sweet and in a budget? Do you have any favorite sites similar to these that would off a more “ready to wear” wedding dress? Please share pics

I got my dress for $600 from David’s Bridal. It’s simple, but pretty. It may not be exactly what you’re asking for, but I will share a picture anyway.

@minted: Aw, thanks 🙂 Not feeling it in this photo though. It was hot and crowded in the salon that day.

Mine was Casablanca, which usually has dresses in the $1100-$1400 price range. Mine was I believe $1200 before add-ons, fees, and alterations. I also looked at Maggie Sottero, Allure, and a number of other designers with dresses at about the same price point.
I added the belt, so here is what it would look like without:

@minted: i tried on that Duchess dress that you posted. i ended up with a different style but still in the price range you mentioned. Mine is the Augusta Jones Marilyn that I’m altering to a sweetheart neckline. I’m so madly in love with it.
I tried the BHLDN Isolde dress: http://www.bhldn.com/shop-the-bride-wedding-dresses/isolde-gown/productoptionids/fbcaeb8b-b90b-4e9a-9313-32da085940dd, but I’m a 32DDD and ended up walking away from it wishing my ladies were smaller because it really is spectacular.
in terms of ready-to-wear, I was also was in love with JCrew’s Carenna gown: http://www.jcrew.com/wedding/Wedding_Bride/gowns/PRDOVR~47555/47555.jsp’ defer=’defer

Have you considered preowned? I bought my lazaro for $1600 (originally around 5-6k I think). Its in near perfect condition (Only the bustle needs to be fixed) and I needed no alterations.
