Something like mums aren’t too exspensive usually. And they have that same, fluffy, look as a carnation.

Looking on the website you posted, there are mums in bright yellow, and orange ones that look VERY different so maybe there wont be the issue of the wrong color.

I don’t know if hydrangeas come in yellow, but those are what I used for my poms. I purchased mine on sale from Michaels.

It’s about the right time of the year for them to be in Dollar Tree. My sister and I went on a multi-state buying spree in order to gather enough carnations for her pomanders. They may also let you order them in bulk if you call the number that’s on the site.

Try ebay.. I found 1000 pink carnations for 40$ and go to all the dollar stores!!
