I am in the process of looking for wedding invitations and I absolutely love letterpress! The only problem is everything I’m finding is upwards of $2,000 which I think is so ridiculous to spend on invitations. I need 160 invites and a reply set. Is there any affordable letterpress out there??

PaperSource has pretty reasonable letterpress rates.

Magnetstreet.com has 175 invites for under $1300. They come with invitations, RSVP cards, and plain envelopes for each. (175 enclosure cards will run you another $400).
I used them for STD magnets and matching invitations/RSVPs (but not letterpress ones). I was extremely happy with their service.

I got 250 invitations letterpressed and goid foil stamped for less than $1,000. I did have the envelopes offset printed to save on costs.
I had mine done at Jeronimo’s Lithocraft based on a recommendation I received on weddingbee. Others have recommended MK Printers and Mercurio Brothers.

I looked at several options that were more affordable, including Twin Ravens Press & Aerialist Press, but I ended up using Reaves Engraving – I had the invitation designed by an Etsy seller and Reave’s printed it for a really low cost!

Try lucky duck letterpress on etsy. His run about 500-600 dollars for 100 invites. That’s where we got ours and he did a fantastic job.
