Does anyone know of an affordable (under or low $2000s for a full 7 hours, for instance) Maryland photographer?
I really like this guy’s style – Mick Lerlop – but he’s not booking any wedding anymore. I like bright, airy, clean photos and someone with a good eye for outdoors and nature shots. Does anyone know of any good options for a budget bride?

zarethacosta: Thank you so much for the recommendations! I will check all of those out. I also might need to look again to see where else I can cut things to up my photography budget, ha!
As a photographer in this area, what would you call a “healthy” budget for me to be working with?

arabbel: Here is a link to photographers in NJ who travel – they offer a wide variety of packages including a documentary package. Ray is also a very accomplished nature photographer.

I think its better to have an awesome photographer for less time, than having a mediocre one all day. $2000 for 6 hours with basic coverage might get you someone better.

zarethacosta: +1 Hiring a crappy photographer for 12 hours and getting 1200 crappy photos, when you could hire a great photographer for 6 hours and have 600 great photos? Less time & better photos!

kellyhahnphotography. She is in Frederick, MD and is amazing. She may work with you on budget, but my package was just over 3k for 8 hours (2013 pricing).
