I LOVE the idea of artsy, photojournalistic wedding photos, but don’t have a ton of $$ to spend on it (my Fiance and I are pretty much paying for the entire wedding)!! Plus, our wedding is going to be relatively small and its hard to justify paying thousands of dollars for such a small event!
Does anyone has any recommendations for an affordable photojournalist in the San Diego area?? Or, can recommend a photographer who can capture "non-posed" photos?
Thanks for you help!!

I’m from San Diego but getting married in Napa Valley. If I was getting married in San Diego I would definitely use http://www.jackiewonders.com !! She’s a friend of a friend and I’ve only seen website and blog but I think she’d be great!!

My photographer was Craig Tiscareno. I wish he had a blog or that I had my disc of wedding photos from him already so you could see more of his work.
You can see a few of my engagement pictures here. We had full day coverage for something like $1500 including the engagement session. He was so great to work with. He does a good mix of photojournalistic and classic posed styles, but he really just likes to make great pictures for you so he’ll do whatever you want him to do.

Here’s a list of the Wedding Photojournalist Association photographers available for SoCal. Hope you’ll find one that is within your budget!

I am getting married in 2 weeks and I’m using Andy King Photography. The guy is a little hyper and full of energy, but he uses photojournalistic qualities, he’s in the top 5 list according to 10 News A-List this year, and we paid him a little over $2000.
