  • First Presbyterian in Westminster
  • First Baptist in Norwalk
  • Newland Ranch in Huntington Beach (the city also has several clubhouses)
  • Santiago Oaks in Orange
  • Rose Garden in Exposition Park
  • Heritage Hill in Lake Forest
  • George Key Ranch in Fullerton
  • Cerritos Library Ballroom
  • Huntington Beach Library Ballroom
  • Maxwell House in Pasadena
  • CSU Fullerton Alumni House

Happy wedding planning!

We had our wedding at Neighborhood Unitarian in Pasadena–they have a really nice outdoor area, but it’s better for afternoon weddings as the neighbors are fussy about noise in the evenings.

My sister found a place called Hidden Oaks in Rancho Cucamonga.  It’s $3000, includes rentals, a wedding coordinator, 6 hours event time, rehearsal, and they will set up for you.  You can BYO caterer.

We had our reception at Grace E. Simons Lodge in LA (near Dodger stadium).  Our budget was 10K too.  The have reduced pricing for non-Saturdays/holidays and allow/require outside catering.

@kkudo233:  check out cabrillo marina in san pedro  http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-plaza-at-cabrillo-marina-san-pedro

Whole venue was $2700 and you get your $500 deposit back, it’s right on the water with a lawn area, shaded concrete area under beautiful trees and there is a hall that has plenty of windows and french doors if you’re like me and hate ball rooms. 🙂
