I bought around 5 veils total ranging in price from $2 – $7. I couldn’t find one that was just right so I had one of them altered by a friend. I wish I had a picture but my wedding isn’t until September.

I ordered this one off wish and it looked just like the pics. In the end,  I used mom’s veil though.  Free,  but spent $3 with shipping on the pearl hair clip .

I think you’ll like Simple 2 Layer Ribbon Edge Bridal Veil White or Ivory Wedding Veil. Add it to your wishlist!

The one I actually wore was borrowed, but I bought a long cathedral one for a boudoir shoot for cheap on Amazon. Here’s the model with it on. $16.66

lyfe_girl :  actually,  I literally like it.  The tulle was softer then I expected and the ribbon edging was spot on. I get you,  if my parents weren’t about to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary of what seems to me to be wedded bliss,  then I wouldn’t have used it.  Like seriously,  they work a couple of cubicles away from each other and seem even closer now then when we were kids.  I’m hoping it’ll work for me and Dh too,  we both work from home,  so we pretty much spend most of our time together.

Here’s a pic I took of the mom’s veil. TBH,  it was just a few yards of tulle you could buy from any craft store.  We sewed it to a comb from  Aliexpress and it stayed put.

And here’s the alternative, I’d totally have used it if mom hadn’t volunteered hers.

lyfe_girl :  my local bridal shop had veils that were super affordable. I’d shop around a bit for sure. 200 is way too much for a piece of tulle. Here’s mine ($40):

lyfe_girl :  thanks!  Mom made it from scratch before her wedding and, as you can imagine with poofy veils being fashionable,  I think it had at least 4 layers   She made her dress too.

Both were made into a quilt last year,  but she had 2 layers of her veil left that she offered me. I only ended up using one layer though since my dress had enough poof factor.

I bought this one! Found it at inmodernlove.com – they are in Canada but they do free shipping. It was $75 CAD so under $60 USD. The tulle was nice and flowy and matched my dress perfectly. Definitely would recommend to other bees!
