Allure! I had exactly your budget and love the same designers. Allure is down at the lower end of your range. Here’s my mermaid, it comes with attachable straps. Alfred Angelo has a similar dress at a similar price point, but has the bling at the waist instead of the top, and the bottom is tulle.

Maggie Sottero, Allure, Essence of Australia usually is in that price range. Stella York.

I got my Maggie for $1,000. (Slightly longer natural waist, full skirt)

Most of the salons that carry Maggie and Allure will have some others in the same price range. You have a pretty normal price range for most salons.

k_girl3:  I tried on a lot of those designers you mentioned, and wanted to keep my dress purchase under $1K if I could. I ended up saying yes to a Jasmine Bridal dress. It was $880! It was actually $100 off, but then when you pricd in taxes and shipping that pretty much covered the $100. I was super happy to find my dress for that price, as it was exactly what I was looking for.

I know some of their dresses are more than what I paid, but still a relatively good price. I had loved a Maggie dress that was $1200. That would have been the most I would have spent, had I not found the one.

Edit: I also tried on a few dresses from Wtoo (A Waters company) that were very nice and good prices.

I have a dress from Celia Grace that I adore. They’re a smaller designer with a good sense of social/environmental consciousness. They have a handful of boutiques that carry them, and also an Etsy shop.

I got my casablanca at 1300, and tried on other casablanca and allure dresses (a few with straps) all in that price range.

Mine was Robin Jillian.  I was so impressed by the price of Robin Jillian gowns because the quality and bead work is amazing.  My gown was covered from top to bottom in beading and crystals.
