Definitely check… if Tacori is anything like Verragio, the ring was specifically scaled to the stone to have the right proportions.

Good luck!

I think 8.5mm is a good choice! Mine is a 2.2ct cushion on a size 5.5. At first I was like whoa that’s big but now I love the size!

Mine isn’t a diamond, but it’s a 7×9 oval sapphire. It’s over 2 carats, but a diamond of the same size would be 2 carats.

My diamond is that size on the same size finger. Sometimes I think it’s huge, others times not. But I love it! I also love that the size to me is perfect enough that I don’t feel I want to upgrade in the future.

I never ever feel my diamond is too big. For reference, I am 5’6, 120lbs, 5.5 finger.

Mine is an 8mm moissanite which in this cut is a 2.24ct equivalent. Because it’s kite set the measurement across the width of my finger is over 1cm. It felt big the first few days as I had never worn a ring like this before, but now it feels fine. I wouldn’t want anything bigger or smaller. In a different cut I would probably want it a bit smaller actually, but I prefer larger asschers because it’s easier to see the pattern inside then.

elizabethean :  It looks perfect on you. It definitely is sizeable, but is not overly big. You picked well, trust your gut! 🙂
