My hair is kinda big…I don’t want it to look like a tent.

Some looked good some looked bad but it defiantly is a different look when your hair goes either up or out with lots of volume.
I noticed lots of women went for that birdcage veil but they’re really out of style right now. You could also do flowers etc.

MemberI am wearing an updo (probably with kinky extensions) and a cathedral veil! I am also gonna wear a flower headband with it. The veil will be attached to the bottom of my updo.

MemberLet me preface this by saying I am not an African American, but my daughter does hair and makeup for brides and pageant girls. She has several clients with ethnic hair. She encourages her clients to wear their hair natural because she thinks it is beautiful. She has long, stick-straight hair, and I think we naturally envy what we don’t have. She says some of her pageant girls are hesitant to compete with natural styles, but once they feel confident, they totally rock it, and they stand out and do really well in a sea of straightened and curled hair. So, I just wanted to add that because I think you should wear a veil if you WANT to wear a veil and not worry about what others have done. Do whatever makes you feel confident, and you will be gorgeous.
