Oh yay! I’ve been wearing different waistbeads off and on since I first posted this. I found out about a new string called “fireline.” It knots without too much trouble and it’s extremely strong. About 5 months ago, I fitted myself with two strands of permanent waistbeads (i.e. no clasp, just placed them on my waist and tied one end to the other). I hope you ladies try it!

Overjoyed:  You have no idea what an inspiration you have been.

I have my amazon shopping cart all ready, i’m going to michaels and walmart tomorrow to compare and I should start making them by next week. I’ll post my progress. The fireline thread comes highly recommended in the beading world it seems… at least from my past 2 hours of internet surfing.

I’m buying a range of bead sizes, from 6/0 to 12/0 and i’ll see how to mix them up.

I’m excited!!
