No idea on that… but if you want some safari AND beach, go to Cape Town in South Africa for the beach! It’s beautiful there!!

We didn’t use them and I haven’t heard of them, but it depends on what part of Africa you’re thinking of going to for which tour groups are the best.

I recommend taking a look at the Trip Advisory reviews for whatever company you plan to use.

@kate02121:  I second Trip Advisor.  They are the wedding bee of traveling. 🙂

You can also do beach and safari in Tanzania, which is a lot more low key than SA. The beach hotels in Zanzibar are incredible – and you’re a quick domestic flight from the Serengetti and Masaai Mara.

@towedding:  I just got back from a safari and beach/scuba honeymoon in Tanzania.

We used Abercrombie and Kent and it was worth every penny.

We spent 8 days on safari visiting Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti (and we saw the Wildbeest migration).

We then went to Zanzibar and spent 5 nights there relaxing on the beach and getting scuba certified.

I’ve started my honeymoon recaps and they are here:

If you have any questions I’m more than happy to answer.

Tanzania is amazing because the parks are huge and the animals roam freely (South Africa parks are fenced and smaller).
