If we are talking a year +, then none.
my exH was the first LTR I had and we got married and my fiancé is now my second LTR.
my biggest mistake was not dating even short term prior to getting together with my exH. I would have seen the signs. Before I met my fiancé, I dated around a lot and really took the time to make sure I waited for the perfect guy before settling down.

Only one. We dated for 9 years. I’ve never had a short term relationship because I’m not interested in dating people until I’m very sure about them. I knew both of my significant others for years before I started dating them.

I had two 5 year relationships with two morons then I was with my now Fiance. We were friends throughout the past 10 years, but dating a year now. We got engaged a few weeks ago 🙂

My husband was my first serious long-term relationship. We started dating at 18.

Before I got engaged and married to my first husband at 22, my longest boyfriend was 7 months. I was with my ex husband for 13 years. Then my second husband for 2.5 years before he died (no relationships between them). I dated one man for a month before I ended up with my third husband (I dated a lot but the one guy for a month was the only one of significance). I’ve now been with my third husband for over 4 years. I’m hoping this one sticks! So…3? 4?
But I don’t believe that I had “one.” I guess I’ve had 3 “ones!”

I had two long-term relationships before I met my husband. One in high school/college and one in my mid 20’s. Would have been nice to meet my husband earlier and save myself a lot of irritation and agony lol, but also, those prior relationships I guess were good in that they made me crystal clear on what my dealbreakers would be in any future relationships.

If we’re talking time-frame only, then only one before my husband. Met my ex husband at 23, married at 27 and divorced at 37. Met my husband at 38, married at 44, now 45. However, I had a serious, marriage-oriented relationship at 21 that lasted 9 months and another “important to me” relationship at 22 that I would count as part of my past relationships that were significant.

Darling Husband was my first relationship.

i guess two? i had a college relationship that lasted about a year and a half, with then another year of maybe getting back together drama that lasted until we graduated and moved apart. i also dated someone for about a year and a half but we were both unbelievably busy and it was pretty casual– only saw each other about once a week and never met families or said “i love you”.

elk91 : if a year counts as long term, only my husband. I’ve had two “boyfriends” and one other actual boyfriend (about half a year). No one else passed three dates and there weren’t many of those either.

This is my second marriage and I was engaged once between marriages, so 3. That sounds kinda dismal, but they were spread over 30 years.

I dated a lot, went on a ton of first dates and had 3 “boyfriends” before my husband that lasted for a month or two. My husband was my first serious/long term relationship 🙂
