I think it’s gorgeous!! If you want more bling, you could add a nice belt that could jazz it up, but its beautiful as is!

I think it’s beautiful. and if you want to add beading or lace to it you always can….make this dress totally your own!

I don’t think it looks like a prom dress at all – it looks great on you. That said, if it is not the dress that makes YOU feel amazing, it is not your dress, regardless of what your mom or other people think. You need to get the dress that makes you feel amazing – its your wedding. Not theirs.

I second the fact that it is a gorgeous dress! I could see where you would want something with more bling. A nice pair of earings, bracelet, or other jewelry will help add sparkle. It flatters your figure very nicely. If you feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful in the dress then you should keep it. If you only like it because it made your mom happy, you can consider something else. But I think it looks very pretty on you

I agree with PPs – the dress is beautiful and looks amazing on you! But if you’re not wowed by it, that silhouette is very popular and you could still find something similar that you love!

That dress is anything but simple.  It is va-va-voom and you look amazing in it!  It definitely doesn’t look like a prom dress and if you feel like you need some bling you could always add a belt but I do not think it needs it at all.

Remember there will always be other dresses.  You can’t try every single one on before you make a decision.  Is your concern about this dress more because you are worried that there may be something else out there that is better, or is it because you truly don’t like it?  I feel like it may be the former where you had this vision of what your wedding dress was going to look like and this dress kind of just blew that vision up.

But this dress is definitely not a flop.

iscnrr1331:  You have a great figure and the dress accentuates it in all the right places. But for me it’s too much rushing on the bodice… one way, then the oposite then the other way again and on and on it goes..

I think it is stunning on you! BUT if you are hesitate about it and just picked it because of your moms tears then maybe because its not the right one for YOU.

I got married almost 5 years ago, tried on a few dresses and bought one because my mother burst into tears it was straplees head to toe lace, i liked it alot when i bought it but didnt LOVE it, now when i open our closet and see it hanging i wish i wouldve chosen a dress that made me feel like a gorgeous bride instead of what my mothers dream dress for me was.
