I’m also on my second month of no period after going off my BC – I’ve read that 3-6 months is normal, so I’m going to give it 3, then seem my gyno just to make sure.

I haven’t taken an ovulation test, but I’m guessing that I’m not ovulating, since I don’t have a period. (I finally gave in a took an HPT, also, and I’m definitely not pregnant!)

It worries me a little, but I keep reading that it’s normal… through my gyno seemed to indicate that it would come back right away.

I think it’s normal. A lot of people say when you stop BC your cycle gets all confused. I’d wait another month and if the third cycle disappears too go to the OB just to get things checked out. Your natural cycle could be very different than your medicated cycle too so you never know.

I was once on BC and my cycle disappeared for three months. Not pregnant. Unfortunately, these things just happen sometimes, then when we stress about it, it just makes it worse.

I went off of birth control June of 2013 I didn’t have a period until  of 2014. When I got my period in January it was THREE long weeks long. Since then I have not had another period. My GYNO said that it could be irregular for a while.

My last period started January 13th.  I know I ovulated 66 days after that period started, so right now I’m in the two weeks of waiting to see whether I’m pregnant or going to see AF.  When you go more than 60 days without a period (and it’s stressing you out OR you’re trying to conceive), I’d say maybe see your provider and ask about taking something to start your period.  It might mean you miss ovulating that cycle, but at least you’d get a fresh start.  Before I confirmed my ovulation last week that’s what my provider told me.

I think your cycles will be irregular for a while, but there are things you can do about SOME of the irregularities, so think about that, too. 🙂 Good luck!

It can take months for your body to be able to regulate itself again once going off the pill.  The longer you’ve been on it, the longer it can take to get back on track.  This is what my gyne told me.

I just went off it so we’ll see how long it takes for me as well.  Hang in there and try not to stress about it.

Totally normal (theres a name for it but I can’t recall). The first time I got off the pill it took me 3 months to get AF. I’ve been off now for over a month and no sign of her. If she doesn’t show up soon I’m going to start pregnitude. Look it up…it’s supposed to jump strt ovulation. We’re not planning on TTC until December but I knew it would take a while to get regular!

I came off of BCP in May 2013. My first cycle was 60 days then 45days and then 121! I finally had to have my period induced using provera. If you are worried call your OB. Ask to be seen. I know that it can take quite a while for your body to get back to “normal” or sometimes your body makes a whole new “normal”. I know how frustrating it can be. I would reach out to your Dr for advice.

My 5 th cycle off the pill was 102 days. My dr told me that is wasn’t unusual. Still annoying as hell though!

It can be normal I think.  My first and third period off the pill was 93 and 98 days.  Then fairly normal after that.
