I had mine cleaned and it is in the closet in the special garment bag it came in. Your daughter could always take a piece of your dress and add it to her own.

Selling your dress can be a pain, but it is an excellent chouce if you don’t want to keep it. Somebody would buy it eventually.

I am going to donate my first dress after my vow renewal and preserve my second dress.

@stagnerj:  Mine’s sitting in my closet right now, but I want to get started on this DIY pretty soon. DH is going to purchase some custom cut glass (pretty inexpensive) and I need to find a way to tack up my train without hurting the dress, but this is what I’m doing! Compliments of Pinterest, of course.

We love love this idea for framing your wedding dress! We first saw Adrienne Maloof’s framed wedding dress on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and then the framed wedding dress above started floating around Pinterest.

This way I get to enjoy my gown and down the road if we have a daughter I want to do pictures with her in it as a toddler. Then if she wants to wear it for her wedding, she can. 🙂
