I realize that I need a hobby. With the wedding planning gone, I find myself pretty bored after work, and just end up coming home, cooking dinner, and crashing with my Darling Husband. I love spending QT with him, we commute to and from work together, and I can say I never get sick of him, but I really want a hobby or activity to do afterwork instead of just coming home and being a bum. Just curious to know of what people’s hobbiies are and what they are passionate for and look forward to doing afterwork???

I just got a dSLR camera and can’t wait to start learning how to use it!

I sew and with Christmas coming on, I have been making Christmas ornaments and I want to learn how to make scrub tops next year (I am a nurse).
I also want to take a cake decorating class. I think it would be so fun to make pretty birthday cakes to bring to work and for family parties. = )
And, we are geeks, but I also play warcraft with my husband.

I can’t tell you how happy I was that the holidays were right there after we got back from our honeymoon in early November. Because I’m in the same boat. I don’t know what I’m going to do once the holidays are behind us.

I workout as a hobby. I also like to read, take pics, craft and play video games 🙂

I read and try to force myself to go to the gym (sometimes successful, sometimes not). On the weekends, Darling Husband and I golf and play tennis.

@futureKMM, that’s my plan too – hitting the gym after work – I was doing well for a while, but have fallen off the wagon…
Darling Husband needs to find time for the gym too, so maybe we could go after dinner but by then we just want to crash…

I cook and read to relax. As a consequence, I also work out.

I work out, rock climb, craft, and play with my puppy (okay, she’s a dog by now, but she’ll always be my puppy).

- Wedding: October 2010 - Ladder 15 Restaurant
haha my biggest hobby has been…shopping.
I really need to stop.
Other than that, I took on our guest bedroom as a project. I cleaned it all out, we painted it, and I set up a space for me to do crafts and projects. I have so many art supplies still from college, and I figure I’ll get back into it.
Also, I’ve been reading a TON lately. It fills the time and whisks me away into my imagination.
Oh–and one last thing. I’ve always been a big cook, but I’ve been throwing myself more into it lately. Particularly, I’ve been making soups to last all week for lunches and dinners when I don’t feel quite so much like cooking!

I do a lot of photography fairly seriously. I also rock climb with work friends, and i’m learning how to put a WordPress blog together so i can start blogging about my photography more seriously.

I love photography! If you can afford it, a DSLR camera and maybe a couple of instructional books are all you need. It is something that I’m glad to know how to do so I can take tons of good photos of our babies someday! 🙂
I also sew, I quilt, which takes forever to see the fruits of your labor but it is a lot of fun. And I am a yoga addict. 🙂
