I’ve done soo good with not looking online at dresses since I bought my dress in December but now that I have the dress hanging in my laundry room (as of last week! Cutting it close to the wedding, hey?) I’ve been just browsing online at other dress just ‘for fun.’ I’m not afraid I’ll regret my choice, but they’re all just so pretty!!

Yes, I kept looking. I dont have dress regret, but I also dont believe my dress is THE one. My dress is ‘good enough’ for what I care to spend on a dress for a few hours of use.

I bought a dress as soon as we got engaged online but when I got it I hated it… like without even putting it on hated it. So.. I sold it
Then I shopped on DB online for a few months and then found the dress I wanted… 4 months later I was able to try it on and then bought it.
After that I didnt’t look anymore and even watched how much I looked at & rated/helped other bees dresses b/c even when you have “the one” if you keep looking the grass begins to look greener on the other side… so
I didn’t look anymore 😉

I’ve continued to look, just for fun, but considering what a tight budget I was on and my modesty standards, I’d be hard-pressed to find another dress that I love more than the one I’m wearing in four weeks!

I answered based on my second dress purchase. i bought one, had major dress regret, sold it and bought another. once i had my REAL true love of my life, dress, i did not ever consider trying on another one. BUT whenever i went to the bridal store to look at shoes, jewelry, for fittings, whatever, i would always browse the dresses just for fun! i never once doubted my Jenna though.

I am like the two other girls….I bought one and am trying to sell it. It has only been a week or two but I KNOW my new dress is for me. But i think I will stop looking just in case! I cant afford another one!

My option isn’t on here.. I kept looking (online, didn’t try any on) when I was having dress regret but my continued search reminded me why I loved MY dress.. the other ones didn’t compare.

I love looking at wedding dresses 🙂 I love my dress, but it’s still fun to look at others!

Haha I went shopping ‘just for fun’ after I ordered my dress, I even posted a thread about it too! And then so many bee’s told me to stop LOL.
I am 150% positive that my dress is THE ONE. I’d been in love with it for a year from a b/w newspaper ad before I ever saw it in person. But dress shopping is just so much fun 🙂

I absolutely continued to look at dresses (I think part of my issue was that I bought it early and 5 months had passed since I had seen it in person…which leads to doubt)-
I actually now have two dresses (yes I got a second one) and I will decide which one I’ll wear by August (although I think Im going with the second) and then I will sell the other.
I never thought I’d be going through all this craziness!
I try to keep myself from looking at dresses often because there are so many styles I find beautiful and it makes me second guess all the time…i have NEVER been this indecisive in my life.

@WineAndCupcakes: WOW I admire your ability to keep trying dresses on!
I wish I could do that- it was my favorite part of the whole wedding process.

@Evie19: I can *ONLY* justify it by the fact that I think I want a reception dress b/c mine is seriously like twenty pounds – I don’t think I can hold that up dancing all night LOL!!! But then all I want to try on are big poofy dresses. Not what I need in a reception dress hehe

Yup, kept looking and that is how I ended up with four, ok really only two long ones and two short ones for the reception. Crazy I know! But with my second long one, I actually did try on more than several after I had put the deposit on it and I still love MY dress the most. I think the saddest part about the wedding being over is having no excuse to try on absolutely beautiful gowns.

After I ordered my dress, I would look at pictures of the model in my dress and swoon over how amazing it was… never had any desire to try on other dresses. I was sure that was it. I felt smug.
Then the dress actually arrived to my house. It needs alterations, but even after those I think it might not be the dress… it is GORGEOUS… but perhaps not the most flattering on my body.
So today I went and tried on another dress. Aaaand I think I might sell mine. Oops.
