I am 24 ( holy 24 already :s) and Fiance is 29. Right after the wedding Fiance will turn 30 and then in November I”ll turn 25. So about 5 years difference.

With my daughter, who is getting married this August, there is only a two year age difference.

My husband and I….well he is 14 years older…and we have been married a reeeeeeally long time ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m 22. SO is 31. You wouldn’t know it. Unless we start talking about pop culture from various decades.

LaTortuga: I’m 32 and my Fiance is 29. So a 4 year difference, and I’m the older one! I had never dated anyone younger than me before my SO. At first I was a little apprehensive, but I got over that real quickly once I realized what a wonderful man he was!

cheers to robbing the cradle! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I started going out with my boyfriend when I was 17 and he was 21 but then turned 22 right after. It was kind of “scandalous” for some people but at least we have baby faces so people think we’re both really young still. People who see us as a couple often get to see that we really make a perfect couple and now the 4 3/4 year age gap is nothing compared to what some of my friends and even cousins have going now.

21 and 44. yeah, you read that right. we barely notice the age difference. if anything, we feel like we’re 10 years apart, not 20. he looks and acts young and i act old (but look young). more importantly, we really do love each other and i can’t imagine life with anyone else.

I’m actually the older one. I am 28 and Fiance is 26. My birthday is December 29th & his is December 31st. I love that our birthdays are so close together.

ddstobe2015: we just met at a starbucks. it’s a pretty uninteresting story. we were both in the right place at the right time. we didn’t intend to date or anything right away, just be friends since we had a lot to talk about. we’ve been together since feb. 2012.

i thought he was about 7 years younger when i met him (he is pretty damn good looking and also kinda immature/youthful, which i don’t mind of course)…so it was hard a hard pill to swallow when i found out how old he really was a few weeks later. but i already liked him too much. and i’m really not your typical 21 year old, which he often comments on. i don’t party at all and i’m a fairly level-headed person. i want to settle down. dating someone my age would be such a waste of time i think. it feels more like i’m 25 and he’s 35.

i have no interest in older men, and he doesn’t have a thing for younger women (actually when he was 25, he dated a 50 year old…). we like each other a lot. and i hate it when people call it creepy when they don’t even know us. i think we have a much stronger relationship than a lot of couples I know.

also, i always have to laugh when people think their 4 year, or even 2 year age gap is too big.

rosecut: Amazing!! It’s still interesting that yall just met by chance at a Starbucks-those are the most romantic stories! I don’t think its creepy at all! I just think it goes to show that when two people click, they just click. Some women are just old souls, and know what they want earlier. And most men in their early 20s are not ready to settle down, or have any desire to.
FI will be 27 in 2 weeks, and I’m 24. I always forget he is older than me because he is really young at heart, and never brings it up. We both just act like kids whenever we are together, lol.
I had a track record of dating men who were anywhere from 3 to 7 years older than me, before I met Fiance, so I guess I wasnt surprised he ended up being the one.
Glad you found a great man!

I’m 24 and my husband is 37, but he’s healthy and that makes a huge difference! He can run laps around men my age.
