I’m 43 and my husband is 33. We’ve been together for three years, married for almost one year. For the most part it’s not an issue. But I get insecure about it sometimes.

Hardest thing for us was integrating with eachother’s friends. To me all of his friends were so old, and to him mine were so young. That just took time.

Another awesome piece of adice we got towards the beginning of or relationship that I will pass along is to go out of your way to share firsts together. I used to resent how I felt as though I was always the “newbie” at everything.

We’re 33 and 50. We’re so well matched that the age difference rarely matters. It has been interesting integrating friends, but there have been no issues. After the introductory stage, it’s all forgotten.

My fiance is only 2.5 years older than me, but when I was single, I’d have dated a guy probably up to 10 or so years older. My parents have a 6 year age gap, so the thought of dating someone much older than me was never a bother.

Fiance is 30 and I’m 22. Not a huge difference but its significant for some. I find that he’s the “younger” one though and I’m the old grandma
