Late to this thread, but I’m 4 years older than Fiance. It’s weird to think I was a teenager when he was still in elementary school! lol As for maturity, I act younger sometimes, and he acts, well….nevermind 😀

@mepayne: A lady at my church married a guy who was in Youth Group with her youngest daughter. People were weirded out by it, but they seem really happy!

Oh.. and I’m 34 and he’s 42. I was really nervous about meeting all his friends and feeling young. I still do sometimes, but they’re really nice and seem to like me. I do like when he’s talking about grad school and I get to say “Know what I was doing that year? Turning 14!” Ha. That doesn’t bother him but the other day he said something about being in 10th grade and I mentioned that I was in 2nd and he FREAKED. OUT.

I think I win the greatest gap–27 years! The only person it bothers is my mother. It’s a bit more than I bargained for–getting to be a grandmother figure before I’m a mother, but he’s the love of my life!
