- Wedding: March 2013
We’re having an intimate destination wedding in 2013. I recently graduated from college and started graduate school, and thinking they would appreciate time to save up for the trip, I asked three of my college friends to be in my wedding. I’m starting to think that was a huge mistake. After having dinner with them a couple weeks ago, I’m realizing that as I’m “growing up”, I’m growing apart from my old friends. The problem is, I don’t really have any other friends. I’ve grown pretty close to my fiance’s friends. Everybody I work with is at least 30 years older than I am, and we’re stuck in a small town while my fiance finishes grad school, so not a whole lot of options. My fiance has 3 people he wants to ask, but he is hesitant to ask them to spend the money. I’d rather not scrap the wedding party altogether, I’d like at least one on each side, but at this point, I really don’t know what to do. Help?
