It will be nice to be surprised!  It would be worse if you had no idea what type of place you were going to.  At least you know to take beach wear and bathing suits ๐Ÿ™‚

i usually can’t stand surprises! i’m terrible and try to figure it all out. but, after my moh insisted my bachelorette party/weekend be a surprise, and my in-laws made the theme/decor of our rd a surprise, i now know it’s so worth it! just really try to take deep breaths and not think about it. i’m sure you’ll love it in the end! ๐Ÿ™‚

I was surprised! The Honeymoon was the first thing he booked after we got engaged. I actually think he had it in his mind before he proposed! He told me it would be “the beach” but I didn’t know where. He did tell me the region a week before our wedding because it was my bithday. He took me to an all inclusive resort in the carribean/Mexio. I loved it!

I just told my Fiance that this was his job and I wanted to be surprised ๐Ÿ™‚  I’m a planner by nature and I knew that if I was involved in planning, I’d just take the whole thing over and plan that on top of the whole wedding, which is killer.  So he’s taking the reigns!  I can’t wait to see what he’s going to pick.  I know a few things: it’ll probably be all-inclusive, it’ll probably be in Europe, and we’re definitely using his points to fly business class to do it.  But other than that, I have nooooooo clueeeeee what he’ll do.

One less thing for me to plan/stress about!!  Can’t wait ๐Ÿ™‚

My husband surprised me! He told me right before our rehearsal where we were going, just to make sure no one spoiled the surprise! Seriously, it was SO worth it. I loved not having to stress over that!

Mine will be a surprise as well! He’s booked it and everything, and his parents know, and my mom knows (my dad told my Fiance not to tell him–he didn’t want to accidentally spoil the surprise. One of his friends and one of his co-workers also know (he was looking at stuff on-line at work), and of course, our travel agent (who is also an invited guest at the wedding). I think his best man knows as well (luckily, he doesn’t live in this state, so he can’t accidentally tell me) and eventually I think he’ll tell the Maid/Matron of Honor, too, in case I need to pack anything special.

Right now, I know it is:

-Not in Hawaii or Mexico

-Somewhere tropical

-Somewhere where I need my passport (which also means not Hawaii, but I had that clue first)

Every once in awhile, it drives me crazy, but for the most part, I’m super excited. I told him I wanted to be “spirited away” and he is taking it so seriously, it’s totally adorable. Plus, I think it’s super fun to tell people about it–people make guesses and it’s pretty fun.

Hang in there, it’s hard not to know, but I think it will be totally worth it in the long run!
