Okay some backstory; 2 and a half years ago I bought the first and only wedding dress I tried on. I loved it straight away and didn’t even bother to look at other dresses. Fast forward and I decided to try some dresses on for fun and to make sure I didn’t like anything else (my guy wants me to have the perfect dress). Well, I’ve fallen in love with 2 which I thought wouldn’t suit me! The first dress I tried on was Pronovias Jenny; I didn’t think myself as the ballgown type however the assistant picked it out and I loved it! I thought I’d feel swamped but I just felt like a princess. At first. I thought this was the new dress (it wouldn’t have been the kind if dress I’d go for however it did my curveless figure wonders). I decided I should try on some other dresses at other stores so I don’t make the same mistake twice. I then stumble across a Sincerity 3661 ‘Austen’ dress. On the hanger, this is definitely my style. It had vintage looking lace and embellishments with an A line shaped tulle over a satin mermaid bottom. I expected that I’d probably look bad as I’m quite straight in figure however it also looked amazing on! The satin mermaid underneath gave a really curvy look (which is a miracle) and the tulle embellished sheath over the top added a romantic floaty feel. Unfortunately I couldn’t take photos so I can’t show you bees the dresses. I’m so stuck! I don’t know whether to A) Stick with current dress as it’s very different and one of a kind B) go for the ballgown which looks fantastic on but isn’t really me C) My style of dress, suits my body shape but not as well as the ballgown
Any advice is welcome! Thanks Bees!
