Which drain?  Most drains have a u-shaped thing (called a u-pipe or something similarly “duh”ish) that will let heavy things fall and water still pass.

You’ll find it :). That is a move I would make. I’m so happy I haven’t dropped my engagment ring….although my fiance dropped it in the sand when he proposed!

Oh no!  I would just try not to use the drain until your husband gets home so that he can take off the U-bend thing.  Be ready to clean it, at our old house we had to change that U-bend thing and it was so gross inside!

Just remember to turn the water valves off before you remove the p-trap. Don’t want to flood the bathroom during the process. Smile
