kbequette08:  I felt pretty exhausted in early pregnancy. My energy levels were very low. It did get better in the second trimester, and now in the third trimester, I’m feeling tired again, but not exhausted. It’s just a combination of several factors. Taking naps as soon as I got home really helped me get through those first weeks. Have a wonderful pregnancy!

kbequette08:  ugh i am sooooo tired all the time and im only 5w3d. I literally sleep 10 hours at night ive been going to bed super early and then all day im fighting to keep my eyes open. Im a nanny but the 3 year old i watch is very chill so its not like im running around all day. All i can think about all day is going home and laying in bed. Its so sad lol

Oh it’s horrible!! I couldn’t believe how much sleep I needed!! I was leaving work early most days.

Second trimester has been MUCH better. I feel normal! I actually really loved a good weekend nap pre-pregnancy, but I’m finding that I actually can’t fall asleep during the day now.

Hopefully you’ll feel better soon!!

I am only at 4 weeks and so far it’s my only symptom. All I want to do is go home and lay on the couch.

Don’t worry about the house, get the sleep now, once that baby comes sleep will be a distant memory. Everyone says that, but seriously, it’s so freaking true..

kbequette08:  I agree leave the house alone, your body is making a baby. Get some rest, so you can have the energy your baby needs. If I feel too sleepy or tired, I just take a nap. I don’t function too good otherwise.

I am so there!  First tri takes all the life right out of ya.  Now if only I could find out how far along I actually am so I know how much longer this is going to last!  Gah, they are making me wait so long for an ultrasound I am losing my mind.

Right there with you. I’m 15 weeks and still feel exhausted. I lay in bed like 11 hours each night and still all I feel like doing is napping during the day. Oh well, hopefully it just means the baby is sucking my energy to grow well!

oh my gosh, it is so bad. I’m a teacher and have to be “on” all day to teach/entertain my freshman. I am like a zombie by the time I get home from work and with the nausea I have trouble sleeping at night. Ugg I can’t wait for second trimester. i’m only 6w5d right now.

I didn’t have any symptoms apart from tireness. OMG it was soooo bad. For me the worst of it was from around 7-11 weeks. It then got better, I felt almost back to normal but now at 19 weeks it is hitting me again.

I’m 6w today, and I keep feeling like I dont have any symptoms, but I laughed when I read this thread because I actually got so tired on my lunch break I just laid my head down on the breakroom table and took a 20 min power nap. I do feel better but geez! It’s dumb because I keep giving myself lots of time to sleep at night and I keep waking up at 7 hours to pee; and I’ve NEVER gotten up to pee from sleeping in my whole life. I guess theres more where that came from coming down the road…….
