I love Fiance. I REALLLLY DO!!!
But tonight he went out with the boys. I stayed home and it feels AWESOME!!! The whole house to myself!!! Just me. The pup. Project Runway. And the best, a large bottle of wine.
Anyone else love these kinds of nights???

@IUrebekah3RT: i just love watching my favorite girly shows and hanging out alone. For the first 5 or so years of our relationship we always had very different job schedules and would barely see each other, but now we have pretty much synched up and as much as I love it there are parts I miss about all that alone time!

I love the times when I have the house to myself. I love Darling Husband but sometimes I just want to be alone to watch what i want, eat what I want, and just enjoy my solitude. lol

Oh yeah. Sometimes you just need that.

@IUrebekah3RT: Haha, that sounds fantastic!! You go girl 😉

Love it!!! I just lounge around in pjs, pig out on a disgusting amount of junk food, and cuddle my kitten to my heart’s content.

I’m on the other end of the spectrum: My husband deploys more than he is home. I hate the house to myself.

@IUrebekah3RT: haha, I’m away on a weekend trip with my sister and just noticed that Darling Husband spent all night playing video games. Like. seriously. He FB posted 30 min ago that he was going to bed. I’m pretty sure he shares your sentiments! :). LOL

Sounds awesome! I love my alone time… pizza, ice-cream, wine, and a chick flick my Darling Husband would groan over being forced to ‘endure’!

yesss!!! He went to a sales expo a couple of weeks ago. Normally I’d hang out, watch girly shows, eat junk food and do crafts but this time I had a potluck Pinterest party the first night and hung out with my neighbors the whole second day. We were even playing some minor pranks on him via text message. When he got home I was like oh no I didn’t do all the stuff I normally do!!! He’s starting a new position in a few weeks though at which point he will have a three hour round trip to commute plus he will be working very long days. I’ll be begging to have him home then!

@IUrebekah3RT: Darling Husband works from home about 4 days a week. The only time we are apart is when I go to school. Sometimes I’ll ban him from the bedroom (because he prefers the big tv in the living room) for a few hours and tell him that it is a vagina-having, trashy tv-watching, no man zone. It’s just necessary for my sanity.

I work 3 12 hour nightshifts a week at work from 7p-7a and my husband works 6am-2:30 pm. So he gets his “me” time those nights I’m at work and I get my “me” time during the days while he is at work. Works great for both of us, we both love having our alone time. I think it is key to a happy marriage imo.
