I’ve taken it before I fly or if I feel a cold coming on or if I’m stressed.. I actually like the way it tastes. I think it’s just a big boost of vitamin C and some other good stuff. I’m not sure that it made a difference, but it can’t hurt! You could also try those ColdEeze lozenges.. I think it’s mainly zinc, but they taste good and are supposed to make colds shorter.

@misskarianne: I usually just took one, but I think they have new formulas now. Are you using the one you drop in water and fizzes? I don’t think it will matter… once you go over 100% of vitamin C and these other things, I don’t think you will get much more benefit.

@misskarianne: I’ve never used those before.. they’re probably all similar. I don’t think you can really take too much or too little as long as you’re in the recommended amount. Hopefully you get over your cold soon though!

I can’t take it (if you have lupus, there’s something in it that is worse for you, I don’t remember what right now). but my partner loves it. He takes it when he feels like  he’s starting to get sick and loves it.

I have used it and I think it helped, but I still got sick. Fiance is sick right now so I’ve been taking 2 packs of Emergen-C a day and I feel fine, so I might stick with Emergen-C from now on.

I’ve started taking it daily as a vitamin; my son and SO were both super sick for weeks (one after the other) and I didn’t get sick at all.  I generally feel better with it, so I’m in favor!  I just take one per day normally and then two per day if people around me are sick or if I haven’t gotten enough sleep.

My dad is a Walgreens manager and pretty much says that they are bs and no different than taking vitamins. They actually ended up having to pay something like 20 million for making false claims, it does nothing to prevent a cold or protect you in a germy environment.

Airborne is just vitamins. You can do the same for you by taking multivitamins. My friends and I used to take it frequently, but it never did us any good.
