Do any bees have their own airbrush make-up kits? What brands are the best? I’ve been thinking about asking for one for Christmas because I’ll be doing my own wedding make-up and have heard good things about airbrush. I have moderate acne, ice pick scars and hyperpigmented scars, so I’m concerned airbrush will be too sheer? Any thoughts on how well airbrush covers? Thanks In Advance.

@Britt_RN: I haven’t been airbrushed yet BUT I have heard if you have acne regular foundation provides better coverage.

I own a Dinair kit, I really like their makeup, it’s water based, so it’s doesn’t stand up to tears really well, or so I’ve discovered. You can put on as little or as much as you like, the heavier I went it tended to crack though. I have not tried the Temptu makeup which is silicone based, but I also have also heard a few negatives about this system, however I’ve never tried it. I reccomend going to a sephora store, they usually have a Temptu systemset up for trials.
I’m thinking aobut doing my own makeup as well, but I know that I’m a big crier and the airbrush makeup will never stay. I’m looking into the MAC waterproof foundation and eyeliner makeup instead.

@plchansen: Good to know! Being in Mexico, sweating off my make-up would be quite embarrassing ha.

I have the Temptu system and I love it. It looks super natural with great coverage.

I sampled the temptu, and I don’t like the pod system. For me, it was a choice between the Dinair and the luminess systems. I chose Dinair. They have a store in California that I live fairly close to ( a few hours, but I travel there often for family) and got to see the product before buying.
What I love the most about the Dinair (and luminess too) is that I don’t NEED to use their makeup. I can put any airbrush makeup I want. Right now, my favorite is MAC’s, but I’m going to try and make my own with this tutorial. (I LOVE Koren and all his tutorials)
Dinair’s makeup is great! I love it and how it dries. If you use a primer & a finishing spray that makeup is not going ANYWHERE

@Britt_RN: I too have been thinking about buying one for myself. Ever since the wedding and having my makeup airbrushed I fell in love with it. I saw an infomercial the other nigt for lunminess and I almost ordered it but was unsure.
Any ladies know how much the temptu kit is?
