Has anyone considered or did airbrush makeup for their big day?? I was thinking about it and would love some photos if any of you have done it….
What is a fair cost for this?
I found someone that is two hours away and would be about 120.00 ( I can’t remember if that included travel fee or not :/ )
What are you thoughts??

I had my makeup airbrushed and loved it. It was super light, stayed put and made my skin look amazing! I paid $100 for on-site makeup.

I had airbrush makeup done for a photo shoot at an ice castle…after that I was hooked, I bought my own and use it everyday, there’s no going back for me…but I recommend it for special events! I paid $75 plus tip, but I only had the foundation done..I always do my own eyes….

@LBalazi: Being a Pro Artist from MN who has worked with airbrush before, I am just not a huge fan of it unless its strictly for a photo shoot. while you are taking a ton of pictures on your wedding day you are still out and about enjoying your night. I feel that a great application of liquid foundation to give you beautiful skin that wont feel like your wearing a lot or look like your wearing alot of make up. and 120 is VERY cheap for an airbrush artsist as the products for air brush are pretty $$$$$. Most great airbrush artists I know are well over 300.00 + travel costs as it is alot to bring with you to venues. I think if your looking to save the $$$ I would find a great artist who will give you beautiful glowing skin that will last all day at a better price. Thats just my opinion!!!

@Nona99: That picture is gorgeous!!!!!
I had airbrush done for my wedding and LOVED IT!!!!!! I definitely recommend it. I cried a lot that day and it didn’t smudge or fade at all!

i was curious if it would run… I am nervous because I have never done it..
120.00 does seem like so much!

@LBalazi: Mine didn’t run at all. I paid $140 (included a trial and she came to me the day of) and I was so hesitant about that price.. But it was SO worth it.

I Had airbrush on my day as well. I was quoted 100 for regular application or 150 for airbrush so for 50 more I did airbrush! This was on site makeup as well
The one thing I like is that it stayed put all day! That was the best part about it!I

Most travel make-up artists I’m finding start at $125-$150. Some include the airbrush, some don’t. I think it’s going to be priced very differently regionally.
During our venue’s tasting, they had quite a few vendors and one woman had her airbrush kit on and she did a light foundation for me. I loved that I could barely feel it since I don’t normally wear makeup!
Alternatively, I am still considering going to a salon because the services are half the cost (and there are only 3 of us that would travel to it).

@LBalazi: Yep, had airbrush for my wedding day. I did a trial with my makeup artist for my engagement photo shoot and loved it. Knew I would use it for my wedding day as well.
I think I paid my make-up artist $75 for full bridal make-up.
The airbrush is amazing because it’s so light and so natural looking. To me, it’s much more natural looking than liquid foundation, and it stayed on forever.
I thought the airbrushing held really well too, all day and night.
Why don’t you do a trial and see how you like it?

I had airbrush done for a friend’s wedding. The bride footed the bill so I’m not 100% sure on the price but I think it was around $75 but this was in Iowa. It looked amazeballs. I was worried it wasn’t going to be enough coverage (I like to really cake on the makeup) but it totally was!
