pennyk:  Yeah for sure, I worked with Dolce Divas http://www.dolcedivas.ca/ they also have a facebook page you can check out, they did all the hair and makeup for my bridal party and me, as well as my mom. I was on the fence about using airbrush, but it was great, they said traditional makeup is better for older women, who have wrinkles cause they airbrush stays in the wrinkles and makes people look older. And they also charge the same for airbrush and traditional makeup.

bellanotte11:  i got airbrush and the lady said this will stay all day and night till you shower. Well the first tear i cried streaked right through and took it off. Luckily our photographer had her own personal powder and used it to smooth my makeup before pics. I was on the beach and didnt have anything with me.

I was mad i wasted my money. I could have done a better makeup job with my daily wear makeup.

So i recommend trial as well!

Never used airbrush makeup, and wont.  I would suggest trying different types of makeup and have makeup trials done, and see what works best on your skin.  Airbrush isnt the end all be all, I think personally its overrated and overpriced. You can get the same flawless look as using the correct moisturizer, primers, foundation, coverup, and settign powder/spray.

But in the end its what you like best for your look, so try both airbrush and regular makeup many months in advance to see what you love 🙂

I did my own make-up, and used liquid foundation. Surprisigly, it lasted ALL day (I did it at 8am!). I think it helped that we were outside in cold temps so it had a chance to just stick to my skin, but overall I was excited to not have to apply even loose powder. My pics still look good at the end of the night (after 1am).

I did use a setting spray (Urban Decay), and know that helped some… along with the weather. I have combo skin and usually by noon on a typical day (I work early mornings), I have to touch something up.

I did airbrush foundation for my wedding. The look was great. I absolutely loved it but at the reception I started sweating while dancing and the makeup started dripping down the side of my face. My bridesmaids had to keep wiping it off my face while we were on the dance floor. If you sweat easily, I would try it out first and see if that it will be an issue.
