I do airbrush makeup. It’s like anything else. if done right can be wonderful, if sone wrong can be ghastly. it’s really just the foundation. Some people Love the expirience, others don’t like the cold air being blown on their faces. Like any makeup, get a trial done, maybe of both. Blending is the key to any makeup, so airbrush is nice because it blends beautifully. But a great makeup artist can do beautiful things with regular foundation..

anyways. i’m rambling. Get a trial done. see if you like the look on your skin type. For me. I liked doing it for men (i worked in film) becuase i could get very light coverage, but for woman a lot them liked the good ol fashioned way.

I agree with Aria. Get a trial done before you decide. The last wedding I was in the bride paid for us to get our (airbrushed) make-up done, and we all had to whipe half of it off when we left the salon where it was done. I also partially scared my date (he’s my Fiance now so guess it wasn’t so bad haha). It does last all night which was nice and photographed well, but be well prepared to wash your face 3+ times that night. Sorry, I’m sure alot of people like it but I didn’t love my only experience with it. G’luck!

I’m getting airbrush makeup and my trial turned out great! I also had a trial run with foundation, but didn’t look well for me. I like the longevity of it since my makeup artist won’t be on hand to do touch ups for the reception!

I had airbrush for my trial and loved it.  It was great for my wedding.  My sister was my Maid/Matron of Honor and we had her do airbrush.  She liked it so she’s going with it for her wedding too.  It lasted a long time and didn’t look blotchy.  Photographed well too.

@alivoo01: Can you share who your makeup artist was? I’m looking for an airbrush makeup artist in Dallas too. Thanks!

I recently had my trial and really liked the airbrushing look – it was much more natural looking than traditional foundation, especially with my super pale skin.
