@PTinfinity4414:  I think you should do another trial with Dollface – see how that goes. It sucks spending so much money on trials, but you want it to be awesome on your wedding day, it’ll be worth it in the end. I want to suggest that you cut dairy out of your diet – have you ever tried that before? And I’ve used Differin (Rx from a dermotologist) and would highly recommend it. Really clears you up. Good luck! Hope you find the makeup you’re looking for – for what it’s worth, I think Dollface did a wonderful job, but I do love makeup with more “pop” than a natural look. Have you brought any pictures with you of makeup that you like?

THe best toner/skin clearer is a lemon. After washing your face, squeeze some of the juice of a lemon into a glass and add the same amount of water to this. Dip in some tissue paper and wipe over face, repeat a few times. (Avoid toners with alcohol that dry out the face and useless chemicals.)

Keep the lemons in the fridge in a covered bowl for use again. Use 2-3x a day and if your skin feels dry, follow the toning with a light moisturiser (Dr.Hauschka moisturisers are quite nice and smell glorious)

Try Bare Minerals make-up. The starter kit is expensive, but comes with a video. It is the best coverage I have seen and actually helps the skin (unlike other make-ups that can clog the skin) I only ever had compliments using that (never with another brand)

Drink lots of water in your day and try to get some fresh air, it will help your skin. Never mind all the promises to yourself to exercise, start with these things and build on that. The important thing is to restore your confidence and then you will feel like getting more active.

Take vitamin B complex daily for 3 months (complex means: all the B vitamins together in one tablet), see if you notice an improvement.

Later, do fun exercise, like walk a dog and jog with it or go to dance class. Much more fun than gym-work !

You have pretty eyes so that is a bonus. How about sorting your hair out and getting some waves in and shoulder length? Then it will frame your face ๐Ÿ™‚

You would suit bangs and that would disguise any forehead self-consciousness until your skin clears. Then, you can skip the make-up on the forehead because the bangs would cover it.

I have really sensitive skin, and I plan on using everyday minerals.  They are an online makeup that has all natural makeup, and it is seriously the only thing that doesn’t break up my face and looks beautiful.  It is really similar to bare minerals, but it is less expensive, and it also doesn’t have any SPF in it, which can look bad in photos.

i used to really struggle with my skin and i still have oily-combo skin so i hear you! i’m always on the hunt for full coverage that looks natural.

i love revlon colorstay (wear it everyday) and buff it into my skin with a flat topped kabuki brush – can’t even tell it’s there ๐Ÿ™‚

BUT – since you’re really wanting to cover and look beautiful, check out cover fx makeup. they sell it at sephora. it’s water based, developed by a dermatologist who worked with burn victims – it covers EVERYTHING beautifullu! a pea sized drop of their liquid foundation applied with a brush would do my whole face and it (even when i had my worst skin on accutane) would cover everything. it’s breathable (water based) comes in literally a million shades, and a tube (about 40 dollars) lasts me six months.

i know i sound like a commercial – but it might be worth going into sephora and asking them to try it on you. it’s completely amazing and i’ve turned a few friends on to it who swear by the line. ๐Ÿ™‚

@PTinfinity4414:  Have you tried Biotin? It’s a vitamin that is GREAT for skin. I have tried proactive….everything that is on the market I have tried. I am 26 and still get acne but if I continue to take the Biotin, my skin looks great. Plus, its incredibly cheap. Just a natural fix if you’re looking for something…

You made the right choice with dollface. I think you’re a bit overly critical of your makeup. Just so ya know… EVERYONE looks a little odd when their all made up if you’re looking at them from a distance of 4 inches away. And not everyone will be staring at your face and checking out your undereye area. You’ll be constantly moving, probably in friendlier lighting than what you have posted, and your photos will look fantastic! Plus I found it weird when I would have wedding makeup on in full blast without the dress, hair, veil, etc. to go with it… just looked odd to me

I like the very first picures! I think you look great, and can adjust for undereyes or lip color as you want.
