I honestly like the make up your friend did the best!! Without knowing you at all, you still look like ‘you’ in those pictures, just a super pretty version (if that makes sense). I would go with your friend, and just get her to make a few changes here and there as you see fit!

In my opinion your friend did an amazing job. If it feels too cakey maybe try a different foundation and go light on the application of powder? The last airbrush looks beautiful on you as well.

However, I think the issue here is your confidence. You don’t look fake nor gross to me. You are a beautiful woman and with or without makeup, you are still you. You’re eyes, lips and bone structure make you look the way you do in makeup. In other words, it is in fact our pretty faces that make makeup so beautiful.

If the Venus de Milo were to be painted, would it be fake or not be the Venus de Milo?

PTinfinity4414: out of your first set of pictures, I liked your frines’s make up best, but I think the option you went with is perfect. Babydoll knows how to do make up and now that you haven’t used the airbrush, it looks very you and very pretty.
