(Closed) Airbrush trial today: which eye-shadow color theme?

  • poll: Which eye shadow do you like better? Airbrush foundation good/look flawless/real?

Go with the natural colored one!

Go with the softened pewter look!

She did a great job the airbrush foundation looks amazingly flawless!

She did not do a good job! It looks horrible, find someone else!!

She did okay, but could have made your skin look even more flawless

She did okay, but doesn't look natural with your skin.

Seems like she's good, but I can't tell without it completely finished & with 2 different eye colors

I dont like either the natural look or pewter color look, go with a different one.

Go with the purples your bridal party are using.

I think your skin looks awesome but the frosted colors on your eyes are not my favorite. It is a very young look and not natural.

    @splatt11x:

You look beautiful , with that said I vote for the Right eyeshadow (my right your left) it makes your eyes pop out more.   The one on the left (your right) makes your eyes droopy and sleepy.

The eyeshadow I selected above will work best in the evening and look great in the daytime. You are correct that in the wedding pictures you will stand out in a GOOD way.

However, the problem I see is that the foundation that the makeup artist applied is to heavily applied . Please take no offense to the following comment: YOu look unnatural and like a Unpa lumpa.    In the close ups of the eyeshadows your skin looks more natural and lighter however when you applied makeup like the one you did it looks weird.

    Solution:

Tell your makeup artist to go lightly on the facial foundation, keep the eyeshadow you perfer .

@splatt11x  Geez I wish I would’ve known about those products a couple weeks ago before I went and dropped a load at the Estee Lauder counter.  Right now I’m trying their Time Zone moisturizer along with a serum at night and one in the morning.  Next time I’m at Sephora I’m definitely going to check those products out! Thanks so much!

too much purple.  it will look even more out of place if you are more tan.  and girl, you don’t need to be any more tan.  you look great right now; please don’t go tanning and run the risk of getting skin cancer.

go with less eye shadow, and in a brown/golden tone.  earthy=more natural.

edit – didn’t see you already had the 2nd trial.  it looks much better. go with that!

The last trial looks great!~ Much better than the first frosting trial! Maybe still a little bit more than you need, but better!

Also, if those are green contact lenses you are wearing, will you be wearing those the day of the wedding? If not, the colour of the eye shadow may not work as well with whichever colour lenses you decide to wear. If you rarely wear make-up, just wear a little more than normal. Try to be as much yourself, on that day as possible. Try not to think too much about the eye shadow. I’m sure your Fiance will love your eyes with white/silver/pink/purple or no eye shadow at all! He is marrying you for you, not your make-up. Go natural!

My eyes are blue/grey too, and I have noticed in the last number of years, that they change colours too! They change to bright green! I kinda like the green after all the years of having blue eyes. Also, if I wear an eyeshadow with a hint of pink, it enhances the green. I wish they changed to the vibrant extremes that YOURS do. Wow… It is almost hard to believe that that is your own eye colour and not lenses!

I would decide what colour you want your eyes to be and then choose the eyeshadow. Does your Fiance like when your eyes are blue or green more??

Also, the airbrush make-up looks too heavy. I personally only wear a bit of concealer and some bronzer on my skin. I think, if you also have pretty decent skin, then you don’t NEED all that make-up. I mean, if it is nearly flawless, what are you covering? Right? Go fairly natural!

    Love your eyes!!
