SO I’ve never had airbrush makeup but I hear it’s amazing! What are you girls doing for your wedding? Any experiences with airbrushing?

I’ve never done it before, but I’m getting the airbrush! I just want to make sure that it lasts all night and from the sounds of it, the airbrushing definitely will.
I did airbrush as a trial, and I loved it. I did the trial for my shower and bachelorette party and the makeup stayed on all day and felt really light. My forehead tends to sweat, but the airbrush is sweat proof! I thought it was totally worth it!
I also had the airbrush for my trial – this is one of my pics. I loved it – especially since I’m not much of a foundation wearer. It felt odd going on, but I was so delighted at the way it felt, and just like MissCremeBrulee said, it lasted all day. We are having an outdoor wedding, so I really want to look as natural as possible and not worry about it melting off.
To play the other side here….
My MUA refuses to use airbrush makeup at weddings, only for fashion shoots, etc. He believes that 1) it doesn’t look natural 2) it’s too heaby for all-day wear 3) full application of airbrush make-up takes too long. I trust my MUA very much. Other make-up artists go to him to get their wedding make-up done. Whatever he says I’ll believe. Maybe you can get a trial with airbrush and without and see which one you like better!
My Future Sister-In-Law is my MUA and I am so lucky. She got me the airbrush cartridges for Christmas and last week did a trial on me. I really liked the airbrushing. I think it will hold up really well throughout the day.
you look great. But you probably had a good foundation to start with and I don’t mean makeup.
I’m doing airbrush makeup only because I’ll be in Maui where it’s humid and hot…I want my makeup to stay on and look good in photos. I’m spending a lot on photos so I better look okay!
