Ok so i wear a lot of makeup on the daily….so on my wedding day, i want to be GLAMMED UP! I want awesome and glowing coverage that will last, I want people to say “Wow, look at how beautiful her skin is”. I’ve seen some pics like on Katie B’s (super expensive makeup artist’s reviews) and i do like that look…… Everyone looks flawless. Any advise or experience please share! did you try both traditional and airbush? Have any pics they want to share? Either from their trial or on the wedding day itself? I’ve also been looking for pics of wedding makeup showing the eye and the eye shadowing but there isn’t any pics of any with the eye shut so i can’t really see that part!

I did my own, traditional makeup, but I was going for a more enhanced, natural look. Not sure if these are helpful, but here are some of mine.
Here are some of my inspiration pics:

- Wedding: May 2012 - The Chapel of the Sir Christopher Wren Building, 2007 Legacy Hall
My MUA put on traditional foundation on the right side of my face and airbrushed the left. You really can’t see much of a difference in the sunlight. The traditional was heavier and had fuller coverage.
But here is a closeup of the airbrushed side.
If you’re going for more of a “dewey”, natural glow to your skin, I’d say hands down that airbrush takes the cake.
I chose airbrush for my actual wedding-day makeup and loved it.

I did a trial with airbrush but I didn’t like it, it lacked the coverage I need for my acne scar spots. My MUA from MAC did regular foundation with a really good primer and it lasted all day and night. Eyeshadow was just a simple ivory shadow with glitter and I had medium length lashes put on.

I had airbrush and I really liked it. It looked great all day and well into the night. While I teared up I am not a heavy cryer so I didn’t have to worry about the difficulties of touching up airbrush.

Trial – Zero Makeup
Trail – Airbrushed
Wedding – Airbrushed
I loved the lightness of th airbrushing and it just smoothed everything out. I was so nervous because the week or so before the wedding I broke out so bad and was just starting to recover wedding day, airbrushing hid it all. I wish I had it everyday! 🙂
