Hm have you thought about a neautral 2 piece top and skirt/short set? Maybe bring a cardigan if you get cold. They have some nice ones out there that look comfy but also put together if you know what I mean. Easy to travel and go to the bathroom in unlike a romper. I’d search 2 piece sets or search for pieces separately and create your own look and see if that’s something your open to

search stuff like white lace skater or midi skirt and tank top

even check out bridesmaid/special occasion dresses

(I wouldn’t search anything with bridal attached to it since the price will probably be higher lol)

I think a maxi dress is a great travel piece. I just purchased this awesome set and though it may be a bit casual it is SO soft and comfy and could be dressed up. I tuck the top into the bottom and wear a long sweater over it and it ends up looking chic. The color is a bit bridal and it just went on sale for Memorial Day weekend!

I got a pajama set from target recently to wear as an airport/travel outfit and it got a lot of compliments lol I’m wearing it here with a bathing suit but have paired it with a white crop to as well

And one one more because it seems like my obsession with travel outfits might actually be helpful to someone else hahaha

I recently got this “summer cashmere” silk cashmere blend set that’s soooo nice but I’ll just link the whole collection because there’s a lot to mix & match. I really love the long sleeve crop top, it’s not too cropped even on me and I have a longer torso. The pebble color is my favorite and is kind of bridal

I know all of those are a bit casual so sorry if they weren’t what you had in mind πŸ™‚

I would do a white or ivory maxi dress. Check out Lulu’s – they have a great selection.

I second the maxi dress or shirt/short set.

TBH – I think you could get away with comfy shorts and a flowy tank top with a cute “Bride” written on the top. Depending on how formal your reception is and when you need to leave, I would try to wait till the last minute to change.

Also, highly recommend trying to find something that pairs nicely with a bralette!!! Don’t ask me why, but it was just so much better to me. I felt immediately like “beach ready” when we landed in Mexico not overdressed or anything. I just packed a cute cardigan for the plane since they tend to get chilly. It should also go without saying, but pack a swimsuit in your carry-on. Darling Husband and I changed when we got to our resort and went straight to the pool until we had our room, lol.

Have you thought of a Juicy Coutoure-esque track suit with Bride on it? Sounds silly but they’re all over Etsy so someone must be buying them.

somedaymrsj :  Check out Etsy shops as one PP mentioned, you could easily find a super-classy script font that fits your style and preference. I think I had on leggings, flip flops, tank + bralette and my cardigan and it was perfect. I was toasty when we arrived but that was fixed when we changed into our swimsuits and my cover-up.

As for Mexico:

Darling Husband and I went straight to the bathrooms to change (after going to the front desk obviously).

Found the buffet. LOL

somedaymrsj :  oh I totally get it with the bathroom situations while traveling. We usually travel to warmer places in the winter and I get there with my heavy coat and I’m dying lol my usual go to is leggings and a T-shirt and hoodie but like you said if you want to look more bridal, look for something light and flowy that you can proably wear again, either to go out at night while there or back home. Win-win, good luck with your search!

(Ps-really envious of all the ladies that can wear bralettes. My 42Ds won’t allow it lol)

You said Mexico, so I assume you are headed to a beach destiantion so I would do a beachy, flowy but still somewhat dressy white maxi. Comfy to travel in (I’ve traveled in maxis many times) but still cute enough to wear at your post wedding festavities. Also, would could be fun is to add tropical accents which dress it up even more (I’ve seen a whole new line from baubblebar with tropical earrings) or you could wear a cute headband; that way you look like a bride heading to the beach!  Also, remeber to take a shawl or scarf for the cold airplane.

somedaymrsj :  white leggings? Hmm, what about a white flowy dress? like a soft material thats comfy, and some cute comfy sandals?

If it gets cold, maybe change in the airport or plane into leggings?

I cant stand jeans or jean shorts and would be so grumpy in a plane like that.

lulus white skater dress (cute and soft $56 now):
