- Wedding: August 2013
I have a custom aisle runner that has been monogrammed. So it will be pulled before the ceremony so that guests can see it as they come in. However, we didn’t want any one else stepping on it, so we’re tying off the aisle and they will be escorted to their seats from the side. We saw this great idea on another local brides wedding video, her aisle was tied off as well but it was done so with a banner which read, “This is where our journey begins.” How wonderfully dramatic and romantic is that?!
I want to do a similar saying on my banner, but I don’t want it to be exactly the same. I’ve come up with the following:
“Today, Tomorrow…Always.” (This is on our toasting gear and napkins as well.)
Once Upon a Time (The ring bearer has a sign which will read “And they lived happily ever after” as he exits.) (I worry this might be too theme-y)
“Ever Thine, Ever Mine, Ever Ours” (This is a Sex and the City quote of which I am a huge fan, but Mom said people may not know what this means.)
“All along I believe I would find you…”
“I’ve loved you for a thousand years, I’ll love you for a thousand more…”
(Both of the above are lines from the song to which I will be walking down the aisle, (1,000 years-Christina Perri)
Tell me what you think of these and please suggest more ideas if you can!
