We had uplighting, draping around the room, and chair covers with plum sashes… kept it pretty simple. I painted a monogram on our aisle runner.

Honestly, once all the people were in the ceremony, it was pretty overwhelming when I walked in, it really didn’t need much more. I’ve seen flower petals look really pretty. I’d avoid candles in the aisle. They look gorgeous but can go wrong SO FAST.

I had pomander balls hanging from hooks down either side of the isle with rose petals as well.

I will have something similar to @Sweetescape1976:, Ikea lanterns on shephards hooks lining the aisle.

Mine was very simple due to the possibility of snow.

We are going to be putting sunflower heads along both sides of the aisle as I will be carrying a sunflower bouqet and I ador them! Sorry no pictures as it hasn’t happened yet, but I love the idea of having flower heads instead of petals (depending on the flower of course)
