Do people still do this? is the only “current” option kissing Balls?
So I am getting married in a church but not a “traditional looking church” (there are chairs not pews and no stained glass) and I am having indoor trees along the front for a backdrop (this was the plan BEFORE the royal wedding thanks kate for making me seem real original) except with orange flowers on them rather than anything green.
so my question is: Is this enough or do I need to decorate the aisle more? I really am not a huge fan of kissing balls or long strands of tulle so what wuld you do?
Are you decorating the aisle or should I leave it and call the front decorations enough?
(sorry I don’t have any cool pictures to post… as far as I can tell no one has done my indoor forest thing)

I think it should be enough with what you have planned! I realize that I never notice if people had any sort of pew decorations until I see photos afterward. They can be a nice touch, but I don’t think they’re necessary.

I think it will be enough with the trees! And I totally thought it was the BEST part of the Royal Wedding!! I’d be pissed if I were you too! But I think it’s an awesome idea and will look really pretty!!

I like the “theory” of placing tulle to rope off access to the aisle.
I know some people wouldnt mean it, but I could see it happening, that people walk on the aisle before the wedding party! =) Maybe you could use an alternative to tulle to get the look or etc.
Look up Tissume Poms or go to the DIY section here on weddingbee! =) So many great inspiration photos!
Im making a silk petal aisle runner for my venue since we arent allowed to have REAL rose petals on the ground of the venue! Best of LucK!

To be honest….I never really remember the aisle or church decorations after the wedding. I think the trees will be fantastic, and most people will (should) be looking at the bride and groom anyways.
I am sure it will look amazing with the trees…please post pics after so we can see!! Best of Luck!
