I need some opinions, bees!
I have super cute mason jars with twine handles that I’m planning on filling with flowers as aisle decor, but I just realized that the ceremony chairs I rented don’t have a corner to hang anything on. So I am now left with three options – do I:
- Spend another $160 on chairs with corners?
- Spend $90 on stanchions to hang them on?
- Put them on the ground?
We’re getting married on a stone terrace overlooking a bluff. I’m liking the FREE idea (putting them on the ground), but I’m slightly worried they’ll get knocked over.
Thoughts? Other ideas? HELP!! thanks ladies 🙂

you can rope off the aisle and have your ushers seat your guests from the other end of the rows.

@julies1949: ah, if only!! I forgot to mention that the ceremony seating area is surrounded by a low stone wall on the sides. No entry from anywhere but the aisle, unfortunately :

Any other ideas, ladies? I was considering putting the jars on wood stumps, too….

Just tuck them partially under the chairs.
I think they would be even more vulnerable on stumps as that would be at hem and purse height for many women.

Can you rent shepherds hooks/stanchions where you live? Otherwise stumps work if you stick them down.
