We’re having our ceremony at a amphitheather of a public park.
Therefore there are stairs that will lead all the way down to the alter.. (I can just imagine myself tripping, and falling all the way down… hahaha lol..)
Well… I’m clueless as what to do for aisle decor. We’ll have to decorate the morning of since it’s a public park – wouldn’t want to leave anything there overnight and risk it being ruined by morning…
What are some ideas that you guys have to offer?! Our colors are deep purple/silver.
Here is a picture of the amphitheater, in hopes it’ll help! Also, our wedding is in June (~ a month away)

Candles on the steps! Or potted flowers, or pots with shephard’s hooks and pomanders hanging from them. If you pre make décor you just have to have someone set it out the morning of. That’s what I’m doing!

wow that’s a lot of steps, can see why you are nervous! But they are not steep, you will be fine. you should practice going down those steps just so you are more used to your soroundings the day of, you want to look happy in your ceremony pictures, not apprehensive.
I would decorated those two pillar colums that are at the start of your walk. They would frame the begining of the aisle, repeat with two other tall spray arrangments at the bottom of steps. You want to add height in this type of location considering it is very big and wide open space. Go to any garden center at loews or home depot for ideas on how to do this.

Target sells aisle runners for like $30. I would run a one (maybe two!) white aisle runners down the stairs and sprinkle with flower petals. That would highlight the aisle in a subtle way, and you could include your colors!

I love the suggestion of an aisle runner..and maybe some rose petals on either side of it lining it for emphasis? Fifty flowers has a great deal on bulk petals (and other wholesalers do too).
How about two large tall pedastals in the center with some lovely flowers on top? On the top of the column/pedastal can be an arrangement and some organza or tulle in your wedding colors draped around the column? I will try to show you somethng along these lines.

I would do tall glass cylinders with submereged flowers in water. You can vary the heights, flowers and colors. You can also add a round flower ball to the top like in the picture.
