Vitamin Quartet version of This is Halloween from Nightmare Before Christmas. Everyone else will enter in to The Haunted Mansion theme music done by quartet. We are exiting to a string version of Led Zepplin Kashmir.

Before the ceremony we will have “Sally’s Song”, the duet from Corpse Bride done on violins, Greig’s “In the Hall of the Mountain King”. I’d like either Sanson and Deliahlah, or “Night on Bald Mountain” as well but it will depend on if the quartet feels they can do that.

Our celebration wedding is October 30th so none of this should be strange considering that is “Mischeif Night”.

I am having the parents and grandparents walk down to the Vitamin String Quartet’s version of Guns N’ Roses “Sweet Child ‘O Mine.”

My fiance and his groomsmen are walking down to “Lonely Boy,” by the Black Keys.

My bridesmaids are walking down to a cover version of “Can’t Hardly Wait,” by Justin Townes Earle.

I am walking down the aisle to “Come to Me,” by the Goo Goo Dolls. I tear up everytime I hear it. I hope I can keep myself composed. Haha.

After we are announced husband and wife, we are walking up the aisle to “I Feel Good,” by James Brown. ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s sounds so beautiful to me.

We’re having a string quartette – that’s was FI’s first request of the whole thing (“it’s not a wedding without it” – even though we’ve never been to a wedding with one, ha!), and it was only $100 more compared to having our dj come (our reception/ceremony spaces are separate) and renting sound equipment is NOT something I wanted to do.

so-

I still haven’t figured out what the moms, BMs, etc are processing to- I’m thinking either Handel’s Minuet, Bach’s Air on G, or Canon in D. I will be walking out to Jesu, Joy of Man’so Desiring (not super common for the bride processional, but I love love love it), and we will be recessing to…..the theme from Jurassic Park. Ha! It’s a surprise for FI- when they re-released it last year in 3D we saw it and he whispered to me “I want this to be our wedding song”….so it is! I hunted for a quartette that already knew it and booked them. It’s actually a really lovely, grand, upbeat song so it works out well!
